The SALIMA International Food Fair, a prominent event in the food industry, has undergone significant scheduling changes. Originally slated for February 25-27, 2025, the organizers have announced that the fair will now take place in 2026. This decision aims to introduce a new concept that reflects current trends in the food industry, enhancing cross-industry networking and offering an attractive supporting program.  

Key Highlights:

• Rescheduling: The SALIMA fair, first held in 1974, is one of the most traditional trade fair brands. To modernize its format and better align with contemporary industry trends, the next edition has been moved to 2026.  

• New Concept: The upcoming fair will provide a comprehensive overview of Czech and international food suppliers, state-of-the-art technologies for food production, equipment for processing, and gastronomy operations. This revamped approach aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences in introducing innovations within the food industry.  

• Concurrent Events: The SALIMA fair will be complemented by the EmbaxPrint International Packaging and Printing Fair. This collaboration is strategic, as a significant portion of the packaging industry’s production serves the food sector, highlighting the interconnectedness of these industries.
