The Festival of Embassies: Food & Culture & Tourism is Prague’s largest international street food festival, celebrating the diverse cuisines, cultures, and tourism opportunities of participating countries. The 8th edition of this vibrant event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6 – Dejvice.

Event Highlights:

• Culinary Delights: Embassies and honorary consulates will present traditional dishes prepared using authentic ingredients and spices. Diplomatic staff, including ambassadors and their families, often participate in the cooking, sometimes inviting renowned chefs to showcase their national cuisines.

• Cultural Performances: A rich program on the event stage will feature local music and dance performances from participating countries, providing attendees with a glimpse into various cultural traditions.

• Artisanal Crafts: Visitors can explore booths offering small souvenirs and original craftsmanship, reflecting the unique heritage of each nation.

Participating Countries:

While the official list of participants for the 2025 festival will be announced closer to the event date, previous editions have seen representation from a diverse array of nations across all continents. For instance, the 2022 festival featured 46 countries, including Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nigeria, Norway, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Yemen, Côte d’Ivoire, Sudan, Oman, Taiwan, Tanzania (Zanzibar), and the partner city of Bayreuth, Germany.

• Admission: Free entry to all areas, including Technical Street.  

• Transportation: Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation due to limited parking availability.

Past Editions:

The festival has grown in popularity over the years, with previous editions attracting approximately 15,000 visitors. Each year, the event expands its offerings, introducing attendees to new cultures and flavors.
