(Source: TC GROUP) On July 12, 2025, Mr. Lukáš Vlček, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, paid a visit and worked with Thanh Cong Group (TC Group) at the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, part of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex, located in Viet Hung Industrial Park, Quang Ninh Province. This factory, which officially commenced operations on March 26, 2025, is owned by TC Group and manufactures and assembles Skoda Auto vehicles, the largest automotive brand in the Czech Republic.

During his visit on July 12, 2025, Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Lukáš Vlček and his delegation directly toured the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory in Viet Hung Industrial Park, Ha Long, Vietnam. They also received a detailed report on the strategic cooperation project between TC Group and Skoda Auto.

Mr. Lukáš Vlček expressed his delight with the strategic cooperation between the two leading automotive groups from Vietnam and the Czech Republic, seeing it as a prime symbol of the deepening economic ties between the two nations.

The Thanh Cong Viet Hung Factory plays a crucial role as one of the key projects in the automotive industry, garnering significant attention from both the Vietnamese and Czech governments. It is the first Skoda automobile manufacturing plant in Southeast Asia. The factory has a designed capacity of 120,000 vehicles per year, adhering to stringent production technology and quality control processes based on Volkswagen standards. High-quality products rolling off the assembly line will contribute to providing the market with safe, powerful, and affordably priced automobiles, serving the needs of both domestic and regional customers.
