In an effort to expand markets and enhance the export value of lychee – a local specialty – Bac Giang Province is expected to carry out a key trade promotion mission in the Czech Republic in June 2025.

This trip will not only help promote the image of Vietnamese agricultural products in the European market but also open up opportunities for sustainable connections with businesses, major distribution systems, and the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.

This is a strategic step in Bac Giang’s journey to bring its lychees to demanding international markets and affirm the position of Vietnamese agricultural products on the global map.

Bac Giang Lychee Trade Promotion Activities in the Czech Republic (June 11–12, 2025)

As part of the European lychee trade promotion program, the Bac Giang delegation conducted several key activities in the Czech Republic:

June 11, 2025 (Wednesday):

- The delegation visited and worked with the Embassy and Vietnam Trade Office in the Czech Republic (also covering Slovakia).

- Participated in promotional and lychee sales activities at the distribution system of Mova Plus – a major distributor in the Czech Republic.

June 12, 2025 (Thursday):

In collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Office in the Czech Republic, the delegation held working sessions and business matching activities with leading supermarket chains such as:

- Kaufland (Germany)

- Albert (Netherlands)

- Tesco (United Kingdom)

They also worked with Vietnamese associations, fellow countrymen groups, businesses, and the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic to promote and connect lychee and Bac Giang agricultural product consumption, while introducing the province’s investment potential.

Additionally, the delegation met with Tamda Group – a major Vietnamese enterprise in the Czech Republic – and representatives of the Sapa Market, a large commercial center in Prague.

After completing the program in the Czech Republic, the delegation returned to Germany to prepare for departure procedures back to Vietnam.

These efforts aim to increase the value and expand the consumption market for Bac Giang lychees, particularly in demanding markets such as Europe.
