(Source: Chinhphu.vn) - At the most important industrial fair in Central Europe – the International Engineering Fair in Brno (Czech Republic) – there are many booths and products that are essential to the Vietnamese market; opening up opportunities, prospects, and potential for cooperation and consumption of these brands and products in the Vietnamese market.
Focusing on Key Sectors of the Engineering and Electrical Engineering Industries
The Brno International Engineering Fair (Czech Republic) is the most important industrial exhibition in Central Europe. It is held annually in October, in the city of Brno, the political and cultural center of the Moravian region, and also the center of the Brno province, located in the south of the Czech Republic, at the confluence of the two rivers Svitava and Svratka.
With a 66-year history, the fair focuses on key sectors of the engineering and electrical engineering industries. In 2025, the Fair will take place from October 7-10 with about 1,600 exhibitors, 50% of whom come from Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, etc. By October 9, there had been over 60,000 visitors, with about 16% of visitors coming from abroad.
Brno Fair 2025 focuses on key industries such as: Mining, metallurgy, ceramics and glass technology; component manufacturing for mechanical engineering; power transmission, hydraulics and pneumatics, cooling and air conditioning technology, electrical engineering and power engineering, electronics, automation and measuring technology, environmental protection and circular economy, metalworking machines and tools for the casting, welding, surface technology, plastics, rubber, composites, chemicals industries, etc.
The fair attracts thousands of experts from Europe, China, and South Korea. Among them, nearly 80% are figures who influence the company's investment decisions, and a third of them are senior managers; besides cutting-edge exhibitions, the fair also offers a rich accompanying program including professional conferences, specialized workshops, and practical seminars.

Potential for Cooperation with Vietnam
The focus of the Brno Fair 2025 is Industry 4.0 and digitalization, i.e., digitalization in manufacturing, one of the main trends in the process of scientific and technological innovation; the scientific and technological achievements at the fair have opened up potential for cooperation with Vietnam in the current practical context.
In addition, other outstanding topics include the circular economy—resource and material management—which also has breakthrough steps; this is a current trend, a top priority field for sustainable development, as the adaptation of industry and trade will progress in that direction.
At the same time, a unique content of the fair is the specialized conferences, as well as workshops and thematic seminars on current technical, commercial, and economic issues with the active participation of leading European technical experts and senior managers of well-known technology firms.
From the goal of strengthening resilience and flexibility for manufacturing industries in Europe, by implementing the latest developments in AI, robotics, and intelligent, automated systems for flexible manufacturing, potential for a cooperative relationship with Vietnam can be seen in the existing technology/solutions (AI) (TRL 4 and above) and related expertise when there is a need for product, solution, or service validation based on AI in the context of production optimization, or facing challenges of personnel shortage; or the need or challenge in improving quality in the context of actual production.
The potential and value of cooperation are specified through contents such as:
Access to manufacturing companies, use cases and/or data;
Assessment and feedback from potential manufacturing users;
Opportunity to refine a country’s solution based on testing results;
Access to technology experts and demonstrators;
Proof of concept (including reports) from testing results.
At the same time, receiving discounts or financial support for testing and experimenting with AI technology or validating your AI solution, based on eligibility checks; support for testing and developing edge-continuum applications; support for developing and testing 5G industrial communication; optimizing the deployment of AI algorithms for affordable use on industrial hardware; proven applications for distributed computing environments ready for AI deployment; verified communication performance in distributed AI systems.
Showcasing Innovation and Technology Transfer
At the exhibition, the booths are creatively designed with unique features, tailored to the requirements of each customer. At the booths, technology companies want to test their AI technology solutions in a real production context and refine and improve the solutions based on feedback, while also assessing the suitability and potential impact of these technologies before actual investment and deployment.
At the Brno Fair 2025, many start-ups, scaling-up businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises appear, but the main focus remains on large companies with the "United by Technology" booth and their industrial partners; by observing the booths, one can see the development of new technology in a "real" production context, and derivative services related to infrastructure, technology, knowledge, and data are leveraged to address specific use cases through collaborative testing.
At the Exhibition Fair, many scientific and technological products here may have opportunities in the Vietnamese market, especially in the context of extreme weather affecting the economy and daily life; these technologies will promote positive effects and save production costs if implemented according to the technology transfer model.
Some companies in the Czech Republic (or with production/installation activities in the Czech Republic) specializing in providing industrial washing equipment, chemical washing machines, cleaning systems, or specific cleaning equipment at the fair include:
Nerkon with technology for producing industrial washing systems (washing lines: chamber/conveyor, spray washing, dipping, ultrasonic);
KOKS Group with products such as industrial cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, high-pressure and ultrasonic units.
ROM High-pressure cleaning equipment, specialized cleaning machines, vacuum technology (through the parent company KOKS) is a professional cleaning equipment supplier from the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
Ecoclean Industrial parts washing systems, ultrasonic systems, washing with chemicals or water, surface treatment;
Narran – Laser cleaning systems integrated into the production line;
